About us

We got tired of waiting for change.

So we made it ourselves — despite every label meant to hold us back. Stop Indian Hate is student-run, but the work is real, and so is the community behind it.

I was born in India, and immigrated to the US when I was 8. As a proud Indian American, I stand by my heritage, my country, and most of all, the principle that you shouldn't have to sacrifice your values to show your patriotism. I live in San Jose, California, and some of my hobbies include playing cricket, competing in Speech & Debate, and writing about social issues I'm passionate about.

My parents are both immigrants from Kerala who came to the United States before I was born, so this country is the only home I've ever known. I'm a rising junior from Danville, California, and I'm passionate about justice reform and equity — the idea that a fair shot shouldn't depend on where your family comes from. In my free time, I enjoy playing sports with my friends and going on runs.
